Services Description

Shore Shades & Finishes provides custom window treatment design, sales, and installation services throughout the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area. Our services include free in-home design consultations, professional measurement, custom fabrication of blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window treatments, and professional installation. All services are subject to availability and geographic coverage.

Consultations and Appointments

Free in-home design consultations are offered at no obligation. By scheduling a consultation, you agree to provide accurate contact information and to be present at the scheduled time. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, staffing, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes.

Orders and Pricing

All prices quoted during consultations are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote unless otherwise stated. Custom window treatments are made to order and are non-refundable once production has begun. A deposit is required to initiate production, with the balance due upon installation. Prices are subject to change without notice for new orders.

Installation

Professional installation is included with most window treatment orders. Installation scheduling is subject to product availability and our installation team's schedule. You are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is accessible and clear of obstructions. Any damage to walls, trim, or surfaces during installation that results from pre-existing conditions is not the responsibility of Shore Shades & Finishes.

Warranty

Shore Shades & Finishes stands behind the quality of our products and installation. Specific warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product type. Warranty details will be provided with your order confirmation. Our installation workmanship is warranted for one year from the date of installation. Warranty claims should be directed to our customer service team.
